  2. Loved the Politics USA piece on on Reed and Santorum, but I am a sucker for stats.

A thought entered my head while I read it: I wonder how many far-right leaders, or far left-leaders for that matter, are actually just charlatans, people who don't believe in what they appear to stand for, but know how to push the right buttons to make a lucrative career out of it. I'm not saying that Reed is one of those people, I just see how they could exist, like Rush for example. ;-)

By the way, the last link is broken.

  4. Thanks for fixing the link!

    From the Anti-Evolution Bill:
"[r]equire science teachers to instruct pupils that proper scientific inquire [sic] results from not committing to any one theory or hypothesis, no matter how firmly it appears to be established, and that scientific and technological innovations based on new evidence can challenge accepted scientific theories or modes."

That's great. Now if only they would apply that to the Christian faith too, maybe we could get somewhere! :-)

  5. Santorum is another one of those know-it-alls who think his choice is the right one for everyone--and he'll use force of law to ensure you adhere to it. Meanwhile he screams bloody murder about "personal freedoms" and such any time he can't do exactly what he wants to other people.

  6. Wise Fool -- Ain't that the truth! Still, I'm not holding my breath.

Buffy -- Nailed it. This is why I find him such a disturbing candidate.
