  1. The piece on God's lobbyists mentioned that the LDS Church has only disclosed its lobbying efforts once. However it is well known within Mormon circles that the LDS church hires lobbyists. In fact, Mormon leaders boast to the faithful about how the church has lobbyists in Washington "doing God's will." I imagine the same is true in other religious circles.

  2. The F-Bomb phone call to Westboro Baptist was (to coin a phrase) "uh...cool." Made me wonder, reading the transcript of the call, if Danielle hadn't reached some twelve year old and interrupted their Grand Theft Auto video game.
