I can't think of anything more reprehensible and disgusting than blaming a child victim for the sexual abuse. But after reading the article I suppose it isn't too surprising given that the perpetrator is the blamer's father. Still disgusting though. That man needs serious help.
ReplyDeleteGeorge -- Accusing a child sexual abuse victim of "tempting" their perpetrator is revolting. I was also horrified by allegations that Frank Houston demanded that a victim forgive him by saying "I don’t want to die and have to face God with this on my head." What a manipulative coward! Perpetrators should accept responsibility for their crimes, full stop.
DeleteAgree! Of course, believing oneself to be a victim while blaming someone else for personal behavior are both common criminal thinking errors … worse in many cases with child sex offenders.
