I had to take a short-notice business trip to Phoenix, AZ this week, which is why my blog has been silent. I enjoyed the trip immensely, but it's good to be home. I'll return to regular blogging soon, so stay tuned.
I spent a few days in Phoenix just over a year ago, towards the end of an epic two month holiday in the States. Nice place, just damned hot, even in fall! Does it ever cool down there?
Zosimus -- During the day, Phoenix was bright and sweltering, but at dawn and dusk, it was pleasant. I understand that the temperature is more tolerable in winter.
Lovely! I've never been to Arizona. I live in Idaho and have always said I'd rather live with heat rather than cold- and the older I get the colder our weather seems.
Pretty scenery! We all need a break sometimes. I hope you had a little time for relaxation on your business trip.
ReplyDeleteDonna -- The place where I stayed was lovely, with a great view of southern Phoenix.
DeleteFrom up here all of Phoenix is southern! :)
DeleteJono -- Hee hee!

Heather -- I'm glad I got to go on the trip, short notice notwithstanding.
