Last night, at bedtime, I had a flash of either insight or indigestion about the dispensationalists and reconstructionists who've been pumping up Israel's tourist industry (and, just incidentally, working to bring about the End Times by influencing Israeli policy), and Francis Schaeffer's Dominionist movement in America. Those thoughts were trying to snuggle up with my alarm and amazement that tea party types and uber-cons were willing to bring our government to its knees again over no-brainers like raising the debt ceiling.
I started feeling all paranoid and chastised myself for a dopey conspiracy notion. This morning? Hmmmm.
This is why we need alcohol for medicinal purposes (our own!). These people actually do exist. God, please don't let them comprise a powerful voting bloc (no prayer intended).

Nance -- I won't say you're wrong. We all know that dominionists have strange and feverish plans.

ReplyDeleteCognitive Dissenter -- That's why it's so important to educate the public about these movements. These people VOTE!
