Right Wing Watch has posted several videos of the Family Research Council's Watchmen on the Walls Pastors Briefing. One video from May 24th featured Jesse Connors from TrueLife[dot]org, who wept while promoting an evangelization tool targeting gays who are "struggling with homosexuality." Presented without comment.
I feel so sorry for this guy. Placed in his position, I'm sure I would be crying, too.
ReplyDeleteMichelle -- It's a dishonest and absurd position to be in, for sure. Trying to convince people to repress or change an intrinsic trait is a recipe for emotional strain.
DeleteI almost got all of the way through that. Had to hit stop when he started blubbering over the guy who died from AIDS. God, what a jerk.
ReplyDeleteDonna -- It was a real doozy, wasn't it? God, how can someone live like that?
DeleteAnd I'm crying because of his bigoted words.
ReplyDeleteAnomaly100 -- I'm crying over the bigotry AND painful absurdity of it all.
DeleteHe looks so gay to me. I'm crying because I suffer for how oppressed he must feel :-)
ReplyDeleteLorena -- There's definitely something going on beneath the surface. It's painful to watch.
DeleteHe sets off my gaydar. Not because of the tears though. I feel sorry for the poor people who find that website.

Prairie Nymph -- I hope those who find the website are smart enough to see through its rhetoric.
