Good As You: FRC's $35 million plan to 'go on the offensive to advance the Christian worldview'

Huffington Post: Jerry Newcombe Doesn't Just Get Hell Wrong; He Gets It All Wrong

  1. Kansas Fetus Memorial to be Classy, Jew-y: This is gonna be good. Any time the fundies set out to build something like this, you know it's going to be hilariously tacky and tasteless. Ripping off Jewish imagery which they obviously don't understand is a great start. I look forward to watching their fumbling efforts to fend off the unexpected controversy.

FRC's $35 million plan to 'go on the offensive to advance the Christian worldview': "Our nation could either freefall into secularism....." Sorry, that horse has already left the barn, thanks largely to ding-dongs like the FRC making Christianity so repulsive that ever-growing numbers of people, especially under 30, no longer want to be associated with it. Spending $35 million to preach "God hates fags" at almost-equally-clueless dodderers in Washington isn't going to reverse that. Just the opposite.

    1. Infidel753 -- You know, between the anti-abortion hostility toward the late Dr. Tiller, IHOP's headquarters, and now this fetus memorial, the Great Plains region seems to be a Religious Right go-to spot.

I definitely hope FRC is on the losing side. Their messages disgust me.

  2. A far-right Christian group going on the offensive to push their religion on everyone. That's unheard of.
