Yikes. Presented without comment. (Hat tip to No Longer Quivering.)

  1. Oh, the ignorance is astounding. It's scary the way they twist and explain away reality just to justify their lifestyle. Seven billion people and counting, but not to worry because God wants us to spawn copiously, and he'll always provide. Just look what a good job he's done in India and Africa, after all.

  2. Cognitive Dissenter -- Oh dear is right!

Buffy -- For the sake of the planet, people need to give up this "God will provide" mentality and take overpopulation and overconsumption seriously.

  3. I couldn't get all the way through this. I heard a local woman tell me a few years ago about fitting the entire world population into the city of Jacksonville. She is the mother of the shooter at our courthouse a couple of months ago. He died of an infection while in jail. Oh, darn!
Yes, you can fit about 2.7 billion people into the city with a square yard each and shoulder to shoulder you could probably fit them all. Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the U.S. at 874 square miles. What it has to do with too many people is beyond me.
