DeleteYeah, the Mormon Church issued a couple of statements during the current state legislative session -- the doublespeak/statement alluded to in your link and the other opposing the legalization of medical marijuana.
ReplyDeleteWhen the Mormon Church issues a statement here in the Happy State of Theocracy, it generally means that the Utah theocrature follows LDS Inc.'s instructions. To the letter.
However, these latest statements have stirred up no small amount of controversy, including amongst the faithful. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
Agi Tater -- It sounds like little gets done in the Utah legislature without the LDS' approval. I hope Utah's citizens challenge this state of affairs.
