  1. In reference to the Salvation Army: I have been reading a LGBT forum about that, and almost everyone agreed that donating money to an inclusive organization is way better. I actually never put a lot of thought about giving to the SA before, something I have done, specially when I leave a store and I have loose change and they are outside. I wonder if the campaign NOT to give them money gets attetion, if their policies will change.

  2. Vertigo -- I certainly hope it leads to a change in SA policy. It's high time for LGBT inclusion.

  3. What do you think the odds are that Exodus International will take this as a sign from God?

Oh, and I'm glad Santorum doesn't really stand a chance. :-)

  4. Wise Fool -- Many of us are relieved that he doesn't stand a chance, given his stance on many issues. As for Exodus, I can't wait to see.

  8. Isn't "idiot" and "presidential candidate" nearly synonymous this year?

  9. "Should Organized Religion Have More Rights Than Women?"

Hell no. Human rights should always come before any ideology.

As for Exodus International, it should be allowed to fade away. It has caused more than enough harm already.

  10. Buffy -- I'll be glad to see Exodus and its ilk fade into oblivion. They've harmed too many people.

Knatolee -- Only in his own mind, judging by his poll numbers.

  11. Paul -- And how! Part of me just wants to take a nap and check back in 2016.

  12. "When New Zealand considered passage of the Homosexual Law Reform Act in 1986, the Salvation Army collected signatures in an attempt to get the legislation killed. The act decriminalized consensual sex between gay men. The measure passed over the charity's objections."

    Go New Zealand!
